The west Londoners are ready to sign Foxes left-back Ben Chilwell after emerging as favourites to sign the speedster Timo Werner, and this could be bad news to Arsenal.
The West London side looks set to land the Germany star Timo Werner after offering the forward a huge £200,000-per-week contract.
Chelsea has enough funds to spend despite the financial difficulties caused by coronavirus pandemic and are ready to trigger the German forward €53million release clause.
The west Londoners have completed a deal for the 24year old, they are expected to move on to other positions, with English speedster Chilwell high on their list of targets as Chelsea manager looks to sign a new left-back.
The speedy Left-back is believed to be interested in the of a move to west London and if he does sign for Chelsea, the Gunners defender Kieran Tierney could replace him at Leicester City.
The Scottish defender Tierney has struggled with injury after being signed by former Gunners boss Unai Emery for £24m last summer, with the 23-year-old having played just 11 games in all competitions this season.
With academy graduate Bukayo Saka having impressed at left-back for the North Londoners, the left-back could continue to find his chances limited under his current manager Spanish manager Mikel Arteta.
However, another of Frank Lampard’s defender targets could put them in direct competition with the Gunners.
