Davido, Fans In Jubilation As His Song ‘Fall’ Gets Certified Gold In US (Watch Video)

Nigerian singer David Adeleke aka Davido has expressed his excitement as his song “Fall” was certified Gold in the United States.  With the certification, it means the song released in 2017 has sold 800,000 units for albums and one million for singles.

Davido made this announcement via his Instagram page on Wednesday. Davido‘s “Fall” is now certified gold in the United States, having sold over 800,000 copies already.

The “Fall” is the first solo Afrobeat to be certified gold in the United States in recent time.

The excited singer took to social media to reveal the achievement with his fans along with a screenshot of his chat with some members of his 30BG.

“I PREDICTED THIS COUPLE DAYS AGO!!! FALL IS NOW CERTIFIED GOLD IN THE ‘USA!!!!! THEY LAUGHED AT ME BUT I DID IT FIRST!!” he wrote.

With this new achievement, Davido’s Fall has now received recognition in several countries around the world including, Canada, South Africa, and the United States.

The melody of Davido’s “Fall” has ensured it stayed relevant for these past three years and will most likely remain that way.

He wrote: “I PREDICTED THIS COUPLE DAYS AGO !…..!! FALL IS NOW CERTIFIED GOLD IN THE ‘USA !!!!! THEY LAUGHED AT ME BUT I DID IT FIRST !!”
