Just In: The N-Power April Stipend Drops, Payments Still Ongoing For Beneficiaries

Most beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s N-Power initiative are already receiving their bank alerts for the month of April.

Sadiya Umar Farouq, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development of Nigeria on Saturday evening claimed “all N-Power beneficiaries from Batch A and B have been paid their April stipends”, but credible authentications proved that declaration was not entirely true.

However, Newera News can now confirm that as at the time of publishing this report, some beneficiaries have started getting their allowance for the month of April.

Taiwo Adeosun, a Batch A beneficiary who uses GTBank confirmed payment receipt to newsmen around noon on Sunday.

Several others too confirmed Adeosun’s claim to be true.

However, the reality is that majority of N-Power graduate beneficiaries are yet to get paid.

Meanwhile, the scheme says the payment is ongoing, as hundreds of beneficiaries complain they have not gotten paid for even March.
