Chris Okotie Warns Christains Against Fake Churches, Preachers, Prophets Others

Rev. Chris Okotie, the General Overseer of the Household of God Church International, Oregun Lagos, Southwest Nigeria has Warned Christians against Fake Churches, Preachers, Prophets and others against shamanism in the church.

He made the call on Wednesday during his midweek service sermon to his congregation.

The Presidential candidate of the Fresh Democratic Party warned Christians in Nigeria and around the world to be vigilant and mindful of whom they listen to either in church, Radio, Television or via online social media channels, as many Charlatans, Fake Pastors, Prophets, Teachers etc, have invaded the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ.

According to the Prince of Nigeria as he is fondly called by his congregation, many of these supposed ministers of God on air, are agents of the devil whose mission is to steal, kill and eventually destroy you, your family, your business and relationship.

He went further to reveal that “even some of the famous preachers known by many as pastors are but an evangelist.

Many of whom are not spared in this deception”. “Some of them in the media as I discovered, are also preaching another gospel, they all call God, but which god are they calling? He questioned.

“They hardly talk about our Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, all you hear them say is God said, with no scriptural backing to buttress their point.

Okotie warned Christians about secular humanism which these fake men of God are spreading like wildfire.

He went further to say “let me show you from the bible, open your bible before you say I am talking rubbish or that I have come again with wahala”. Open your Bible, go to the book of Galatians 1:8

Galatians 1:8  ⁸ But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

“I didn’t write it, you have seen it for yourself.” He continued, “My duty to you as your pastor primarily is to guide you through the truth I have received from our Lord Jesus Christ.”

“This warning became necessary because, many believers are being deceived by the day; people no longer want to hear the truth of God’s Word, these fake ministers through the message of deception and secular humanism are leading many astray,” he said. “They are more interested in miracles and what they can do by themselves, not what God can do through the Holy Spirit”.

“You must be sure that you are born again if not, you will be sorry when you come face to face with your maker.”

“The Bible says we should examine ourselves if we are in the faith. Let me show you, open your bible,” 2 Corinthians 13:5

Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye, not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

In conclusion, he said, “you must be very sure that you are born again and must be sure that you are not deceived by these fake ministers in Nigeria and around the world.

If you are not born again do so now, because tomorrow may be too late he advised.
