The Dangers Of Delays By Pastor Elijah Adams

Last week we began to deal with the subject of delay in life, and we discovered that Delay is a process and not an end product. Today I will unveil the dangers of delays and how to overcome all forms of delays.

Our texts today is taken from 2 Corinthians 2:(11)  It Reads “Lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices”.

Take note, one of the dangers of delay is the very fact that the devil does take advantage of it and due to the pressure that comes with delay it has caused so many people to derailed or go astray in life.

It has made them to completely go off the track of God’s plans for their lives or His promises for them, and in case you are a victim of what I am talking about,  by the reason of the pressure of delay you have derailed from God’s plans and purpose for your life, all hope is not lost.

if only you can get back on track again with God, I know for sure that God will turn things around for your good because He has promised to do just that, but only if you are back on track in his will.

The word of God says in Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose”.

THE ONLY GUARANTY THAT GOD WILL WORK OUT THINGS FOR YOUR GOOD WILL ONLY BE POSSIBLE WHEN YOU ARE IN THE CENTER HIS WILL FOR YOUR LIFE. (selah).

Receive God’s help to get back on track from wherever you have derailed in Jesus name. Can I get an amen? Amen! I see you returning back on track. Receive the power to succeed now!

A step further, the devil indeed is good at taking advantage of delays. Therefore you cannot afford to be ignorant, least he (Satan) takes advantage of your delays to your detriment. You will not be frustrated in Jesus Name. Amen.

Friends, Check this out…While Isaac the promised child was delayed, Mr. and Mrs. Abraham derailed and had Ishmael, whose generation today is a torn in the flesh of so many.

Have mercy Lord. (Gen 16:1-16). While Moses delayed at the mountain where he was waiting to receive (the law) from God, on behalf of the Children of Israel, he was there to receive God’s instructions for the betterment of their own lives, the children of Isreal derailed and sought after another god to their own detriment.

Somebody say have mercy Lord. In (Exodus 32:1-35). The prophet Samuel had a delay in coming to offer the appointed sacrifice, however, before his arrival, king Saul came under pressure and he derailed, he decided to offer the sacrifice himself, something he ought not to have done.

King Saul did what was not his right to do or in his capacity to do and by so doing he lost the establishment of his kingdom forever. Have Mercy Lord. (1 Samuel 13;1-23).

Ladies and gentlemen, In the mouth of two or three witnesses a matter is settled, so says the scriptures and we have seen from the scriptures that indeed the devil can take advantage of the delay to make one derail or go astray to their own detriment.

It is my earnest prayer today that you will not abort your journey to your promised land in the mighty name of Jesus. I pray for you today, every schemes or strategy of the devil to take advantage of your delays in other to cause you to abort or go astray to your own destruction is hereby frustrated and aborted in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. I see nothing stopping you. You will succeed! Amen.
