Ibrahim El Zakzaky, Wife Moved To Abuja From Kaduna

Few days after the High Court in Kaduna State granted the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky and his wife bail to travel to India for a medical check-up, the Shiites leader has been moved to Abuja ahead of his trip to India.

According to the report, El-Zakzaky was moved from Kaduna on Sunday with his wife Zeenat, from their protective custody.

A source close to the Shiites leader revealed that apart from security personnel who are to accompany the Sheikh, family members would also be on the trip. Further information noted that their traveling documents are now ready after the ruling of the Kaduna court.

Recall that Justice Darius Khobo of Kaduna State High Court had last week Monday, granted Ibrahim Elzakzaky leave to seek for medical attention in New Delhi, India.

Khobo while reading out part of the terms to be met before the trip stated that he would travel in the company of State officials. He said the IMN leader must return immediately after his discharge from the hospital to face his charges.
