Chelsea Star Ruled Out Of Real Madrid Clash At The Santiago Bernabeu

Chelsea will face Real Madrid in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter final clash at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday. The Blues lost the first leg 3-1 at Stamford Bridge and hope to turn things around in the second leg in Spain.

Ahead of the game, Chelsea star Romelu Lukaku has been ruled out of the tie due to injury and he will not travel with the team to Spain later today.

This was confirmed by Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel in the press conference ahead of the tie in Spain.

“Lukaku will not travel with us due to his injury,” he said.

The German manager also gave updates about other players who are injured; “Callum Hudson-Odoi out, Ben Chilwell out, Azpilicueta has tested negative and is in the group. Ross Barkley is sick.”
