The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Tuesday reported 250 new COVID-19 cases from eight states and the Federal Capital Territory.
Neweranews gathered that the agency also reported seven additional COVID-19 related deaths.
The NCDC disclosed this on its official website.
According to data from the agency, Lagos reported the highest figures for new infections with 122 cases.
Gombe reported 44 cases, FCT – 20, Kaduna – 19, Borno – 16, Delta – 7, Ondo – 7, Rivers – 6, Jigawa – 3, Oyo – 3, Bauchi – 1, Kano – 1, Ogun – 1.
The reported 250 new infections have brought the total number of confirmed cases to 252,678 while 227,491 people have recovered and have been discharged.

With seven additional COVID-19 related deaths recorded for the day, the death toll from the virus now stands at 3,133.
The agency added that a multi-sectoral National Emergency Operations Centre, activated at Level 2, had continued to coordinate the national response activities.
