The Umuohama Ukpor Community in Anambra State on Monday jubilates as Lifegate Specialist Hospital opened her gate to receive patients from across the community and the state at large.
Newera News gathered that the Chief Media Director, Dr. Fred Egwuatu, a Gynaecologist and Obstetrician expert, said, “the centre will cater for the medical needs of the entire community and the neighbouring communities across the state and there will be no need for medical tourism outside the state”.
The hospital was established in 2001 and it’s Headquarter located in Lagos to cater for patients with various health challenges across Nigeria and beyond.
During the opening ceremony, Evang. Dr. Peter Ndeche, popularly known as Bro. Pee, led the invitees in a special prayer session, lifting and dedicating the centre to Almighty God.
The clergyman thanked God for making the establishment of Lifegate Specialist Hospital possible at this auspicious time.
Meanwhile, Dr. Egwuatu in a delightful mood announced that the centre will provide full medical services in the area of Antenatal and Post Natal care, Gynaecology, Family Planning, Paediatrics, Diagnostics, Laboratory Services. Ultrasonology, Infertility Treatment, Immunization, General Surgery and Ambulance Services.

He went further to say that “our vision is to rank amongst the best providers of quality and patient-friendly healthcare services at the optimum level of care and maintain professional standards at all times with zero tolerance for inefficiency”. “And our Hallmark is professional excellence, innovation and dexterity, integrity and reputation, corporate.

The Branch Admin Officer, Mrs. Judy N. Eke took our correspondent around the facility said, “The facility with over 100 beds will accommodate as many patients as possible no matter their ailments”.
“Our resident doctors and nurses are always around to ensure patients are taken good care of without excuses”, she revealed.
“Already, we have performed the first operation at the new centre, and the patient is responding to treatment”.
Also, to the glory of God, the first baby delivery at the new location in Umuohama Ukpor Anambra state, took place on Sunday night being the 20th of June 2021, mother and baby are safe and alright,” says enthusiastic Mrs. Eke.
A satisfied patient who will not like her name in print confirmed to our correspondent that her husband was admitted into the hospital 2days ago and discharged this morning after been taken care of by the specialist in the centre.
