Finally Appeal Court To Deliver Judgement On Ondo Governorship Poll Today
The appeal court sitting in Akure, the Ondo state capital will this Wednesday deliver judgment in the appeal brought before it by a candidate of the PDP, in the October 10, 2020 governorship election, Eyitayo Jegede.
Jegede had approached the appeal court after the election tribunal dismissed his case on lack of merit.
The court will rule over the cross-appeal case brought before it by the state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu; his deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa; the All progressives Congress, APC and INEC.
The court had last week through a zoom session heard all the appeals by the appellant and defenders.
The three-man panel will deliver judgement virtually.
