Ndi-Igbo Please Forgive Us For The Role We Played During The Biafra War, Fulanis Used Us – Middle Belts People’s Forum

The Elders of the former Benue Plateau, Kaduna under the Umbrella of The Middle Belt People’s Forum has called on the Igbos to forgive them.

Spokesman of the group Mr Dushman Alagu called on the people of South-Eastern Nigeria to forgive them for the role they played during the Nigeria-Biafra civil war.

Alagu made the appeal during a courtesy call at the palace of Ezeigbo 1 of Benue State, to discuss matters affecting the harmonious relationship between Igbos and the people of Benue and by extension the people of the Middle Belt.

He said, “We the people from the middle belt extraction of Nigeria erred in our phantasmagoria ignoramus mindset to have allowed ourselves to be used during the Nigeria-Biafra civil war, and we plead with you to please forgive us. We have realized our mistake hence we are asking for your forgiveness.

We will make amends henceforth, and support your agitation for the actualization of Biafra.  Indeed, we are Biafrans too, he said.

You will recall that recently many other tribes in Nigeria are drumming support for the establishment of a Biafra state out of present Nigeria.

The people of South south region came out publicly en mass to support the Biafra agitation and now, Hausa youths from North-Eastern Nigeria.

They believe that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu deserves their support hence they urge lovers of freedom in Nigeria to support the move for the actualization of the United States of Biafra this year.

According to the leader of the Arewa Youths in North-eastern Nigeria (AYNN), Musa Mohammed has said they are drumming their support for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu whose leadership in IPOB can only be described as iconic.
