Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu Rejects Call To Be A King, I’m Selfless And Committed To My Assignment
Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has rejected the call by the Abia state Governor, Okechukwu Ikpeazu to come back and be made king of Ibeku, a community in Abia State.
Last week Monday, the Governor of Abia state, Mr. Okezie Ikpeazu called the leader of indigenous people of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to come home to be crowned as a king in the place of his father.
The information reaching our desk this morning has confirmed that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu rejects the offer.
He said, “my mission is to liberate Igbos from slavery not to be a king in Abia state”.
He said the call is a distraction to him and no man or government that can take him away from Biafra agitation.
” I have an appointment with destiny to liberate my people Ndi-Igbo and I will remain focused on that assignment, and cannot be distracted this time with a carrot to be king”, he said.
Get ready to usher in a new country, the United States of Biafra whose maker and builder is God.
Meanwhile, former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan has commended the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for his diplomatic approach to actualising the Biafra struggle.
He said “I hail Nnamdi Kanu for using his wisdom and courage to fight for his right. What Ojukwu failed to do is what Nnamdi Kanu is doing. He has been agitating for Biafra without violence, this is the kind of leader we need.
He has been going from country to country talking with world leaders to help him for Biafra restoration, that is what Ojukwu would have done. I encourage other freedom fighters to emulate Nnamdi Kanu”
Meanwhile, Turkey, Israel, Germany, France, UK and the United States are among the countries whose backing for the actualisation of Biafra has been commendable as they pledge total support of Biafra.
