It’s Unfortunate, Shameful As South-East Governors Were Quick To Proscribed IPOB While Those In North Are Signing Agreements With Terrorists – Senator Abaribe
Serving Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, representing Abia South Senatorial District has reacted to the way governors in the South-west, South-east and the North proscribe the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
The Newera News gathered from thepremiumreports.com that Senator Abaribe has finally questioned the rationale behind the proscription of the Indigenous People of Biafra as a terrorist organisation?
IPOB is a non-violent group known to be very peaceful in their agitation for an equitable society but termed terrorist.
However, the governors and the Nigerian state pays lip service and treat Fulani murderous herdsmen and Boko Haram terrorists as friends instead of prescribing them as enemies.
The terrorists are reworded and reintegrated back into the Nigerian Army when they surrender or claim to have repented.
Abaribe stated that it is shameful of them to quick proscribe them and the South East also join in the evil act.
According to the Senator representing Abia south while reacting to the issue of the executive Governor of KATSINA STATE claims that the bandits didn’t keep to their agreement, Abaribe questions why the federal government was quick to proscribe IPOB and the governors in Southeast join in that evil action.
“I just read a news yesterday where KATSINA state GOVERNOR was saying that the bandits in his state failed to keep to their agreement.
“I am very shocked by this posture.” “Why could the governors in Southeast proscribe an organization that only Carry flag while their counterpart in the north is having an agreement with a body designated as a TERRORIST ORGANIZATION”?
“Why is the Federal Government silent over this, yet they were quick to tag IPOB MEMBERS, TERRORIST?, he questions.
“This shows that some parts of this country are allowed to do whatever they feel like while others are being hunted!
“It is very unfortunate especially the role played by Igbo Politicians..” It cannot be business as usual, you must protect your people or get ready to be consumed, he warned.
