BIAFRA: Soldiers Are Killing Us, Imo River Residents Cry Out (Video)

The Peaceful residents of Okwa West Local Government Abia State have raised an alarm of clampdown by the Nigerian military seeks for rescue and protection from the international community.

In a retrieved video delivered by a middle-aged man who introduced himself as Imo River’s Coordinator of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) said for four weeks and counting men of the armed force chased residents from their villages.

The communities mentioned include Izuaku, Owaza, Obuzor, and one man country noting the men of Nigeria military are tormenting them.

He said a coordinator, Prince Akanwa, his media crew, and other members were kidnapped by the army of the 144 Battalion and have not been seen in the public for a very long time.

He revealed that the majority that escaped into bushes are still trapped.

The soldiers combed the Obuzor market where they flogged and humiliated a mother, including in the Obikpo neighbourhood, a mother who manages a restaurant, her pot of Rice, and drinks was whisked off.

They also invaded a centre where youths usually recharge cellphone batteries and seized their phones in the same Obikpo.

He reported that the rampaging soldiers have concluded plans to invade Imo River, adding that they held a meeting which had in attendance, Traditional rulers and Governors.

We call on the relevant authorities to wade into the matter as soon as possible to ensure there is no breakdown of law and order.
