I’m Happy With Win Over Latvia, But The Real Challenge Lies Ahead -Germany’s Thomas Müller
Bayern Munich star Thomas Müller played a big role in Germany’s 7-1 win over Latvia and was happy to see Die Mannschaft played a more fluid and productive game.
Müller, who was credited with a goal and an assist on the day, know that things won’t be that easy against the likes of France and Portugal.
“The result wasn’t the most important aspect today, it was more about the way we performed. It’s been a while since our last big win though, so it was a good feeling out on the pitch. We’re well aware that it will be a very different (game) against France”, said Müller (as captured by Tz).
Müller credited the team paying more attention to detail for the success.
“We worked on the processes in more detail. We play very variable offensively, but defensively every position has to be accounted for,” said Müller, “The goal is that we play lively, attractive, passionate football.”
