Funny: Police officers Removed Their Uniform During Attack To Escape
There have been a rise in attacks on security operatives in some parts of the country especially in South East and some parts of South-South.
Security operatives who are charged with the protection of lives and properties are now being hunted by some unknown gunmen.
These unknown gunmen have killed tens of police officers, soldiers over the past few weeks.
If you could recall that it was reported a few days ago that unknown gunmen attacked three different locations and killed 7 police officers, a trader in the Rumuokoro market spoke with Daily Post and he revealed that during one of the attacks, police officers quickly removed their uniforms to escape being killed.

The trader said that security operatives who are meant to protect the citizens are not even safe in the region anymore, adding that they need help because most of these security operatives are afraid to go to work due to the fear of being attacked by unknown gunmen.
He revealed what happened during an attack in his area in Rivers state, he said that some police officers removed their uniforms and joined as civilians so that they won’t be targeted and killed by the gunmen. He stated that this is an alarming situation and there is no day that residents in Rivers state won’t hear about killings.
The trader continued and said that the security situation in Rivers state has worsened to the extent that security operatives now run to civilians when there is an attack on police stations or checkpoints, which is different from before when civilians run to the police station to be secured when there are security problems.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed said that those attacking security operatives will pay dearly for their actions.
