Ganduje Resigns as APC National Chairman

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has reportedly tendered his resignation from the position.

Newera News learnt that Ganduje, a former Governor of Kano State, cited health reasons for his decision, stating that he needs to focus on his well-being.

Ganduje’s resignation takes immediate effect, according to a post on X  by a former media aide to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, Bashir Ahmad, on Friday.

Ahmad wrote: “The National Chairman of our great party, the All Progressives Congress(APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has resigned from his position, effective immediately, as confirmed by multiple sources.”

Ganduje’s tenure as APC chairman has been marked by controversy.
