Liverpool Rain of Goals, Flogs Watford 0-5

What a goal!!! Mohamed Salah dances his way past Watford defenders inside the box to put Liverpool fourth goal up and before you say jack, the fifth goal happens!

Liverpool is ahead at the break thanks to goals from Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.

It was an exceptional opening 45 minutes from Jurgen Klopp’s side, who have looked completely at ease from the get-go.

Liverpool has continued their habit of scoring plenty of games away from home. The Reds have scored three or more goals in every away game this season.

The second half has begun as Liverpool look to hold on for three points at Vicarage Road.

Claudio Ranieri has made one change at the start of the second half as Tom Cleverley replaces Adam Masina. It looks as though Watford will now switch to a 4-3-3 formation.

Will Watford respond in second half?

If anything, Liverpool will be annoyed they haven’t made more of their dominance.

Another goal early in the half surely seals this game, and Watford simply have to come out and have a go at the start of the second half.

There were a few murmurs and boos from the home crowd at the whistle for half-time because this Watford performance is the polar opposite of what Brentford did against the Reds.

Liverpool have indeed played very well and some of their passing has been magnificent. Watford, though, have helped a fair bit with their tactics and approach.

Klopp will want his men to start the second half like the first and put this one to bed as soon as possible.

Liverpool Rain of Goals, Flogs Watford 0-5 continues the winning ways.

Caoimhin Kelleher 7

Kicked the ball a few times first half. That’s it.

Worked so hard down the left both in defence and attack and overlapped into the space left by Mane.

Excellent use of the ball and his tenacity started the move for the second Liverpool goal in which he claimed an assist.

Naby Keita 7

Clipped the top of the bar with a deflected effort and always on the front foot when thrusting into space.

Magnificent pass with outside of left foot created opener and absolutely destroyed Rose. Poor touch cost him a first-half goal, though.

Regular joy when dropping into a deeper position and tapped home the second.

Sadio Mane 8

Took the opener superbly, involved in the build-up to second and a constant threat when tucking in from the left flank.
