Nnamdi Kanu Blasts Fulani Herders For Killing Three Amotekun Corps in Ondo Community

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has warned Fulani Herdsmen on Monday to keep away from the Eastern Region.

Kanu gave the warning few minutes after the news of attack by some Fulani Herdsmen who attacked and killed three Amotekun Corps at Ago Sanusi along Ute Road in Owo, headquarters of Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.

Kanu said, ” The Eastern Security Network Corps shall deal decisively on any intruder, whoever that may be, found around our territory”

“Amotekun Corps can pamper you, we will not have mercy when you are caught”, be warned.

Newera News gathered that the leader of the Amotekun corps as at the time of filing this report is also missing in the attack carried out by the herdsmen on Monday night.

It was gathered that the herdsmen had laid an ambush for the Amotekun men who after receiving a tip-off from some farmers went into the forest reserve on the trail of some criminal elements in the area.

Recalled that the men of the Amotekun Corps had a few days ago apprehended 15 persons for allegedly being involved in illegal mining in the area.

Information reaching us had it the Fulanis are regrouping to launch a reprisal attack in the community.

The people of the affected community are calling on the state governor to come to their rescue.
