Gunmen Abduct 21 Passengers Again In Niger State

Another set of 21 passengers have been abducted by a large number of gunmen. The passengers who boarded the bus belonging to the Niger State Transport Authority were abducted between Zungeru and Tegina.

Our correspondent gathered that the bus was abandoned along the road and the victims taken to an unknown destination.

The gunmen are yet to make any contact on their demand.

You will recall that about fifty persons were kidnapped in the communities of Bassa/Kukoki Wards of Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State a few weeks ago without any arrests made.

The Gunmen in their large numbers had in the early hours of Thursday invaded the community.

Sources said the gunmen dispossessed the victims of their valuables and kidnapped not less than fifty of them.
