How Gunmen Kidnapped 18 Police Officers Unchallenged

Just last week 18 Police officers in Farin Ruwa, Birnin Gwari along Funtua Road, Kaduna were kidnapped unchallenged.
It was reported that the Policemen were on their way to Kano state, after attending a function in Minna, Niger State when the incident occurred.
The Chairman of Birnin Gwari Emirates Progressive Union (BEPU), Barrister Salisu Haruna confirmed the incident in a report.
Haruna said the Policemen in Dogon Dawa Checkpoint informed him about the incident.
According to him “18 Policemen have been kidnapped in Birnin Gwari along Funtua Road by unknown gunmen, Nobody knows where the gunmen took the policemen to yet. The incident occurred On Friday, 15th January 2021.
Nigerians are calling on President Mohammadu Buhari led federal government to as a matter of urgency replace the tired service chiefs and restructure the security apparatus nationwide to forestall another occurrence.
