Update On The Republican National Convention Day Four: Trump Dishing Out Facts Setting The Stage For His Re-election Bid

The Republican National Convention’s fourth day got underway on Thursday, enumerating facts that would set the stage for the election come November 3, 2020.

Some of the speakers’ who spoke at the opening ceremony include Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, HUD Secretary Ben Carson, former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani, White House advisor Ivanka Trump, and President Trump Speaking at the Convention.

Below are some of the updates.

Donald Trump pledged and said that “On November 3rd, we will make America safer, we will make America stronger, we will make America prouder, and we will make America greater than ever before,” he says as he finishes his speech.

Trump now striking an optimistic note as he approaches the end of this speech, saying ‘we don’t tear down our past.” “We are the nation that won a revolution, toppled tyranny and fascism, and delivered millions into freedom,” he says.

“We laid down the railroads, built the great ships, raised up the skyscrapers, revolutionized the industry, and sparked a new age of scientific discovery.” “We set the trends in art and music, radio and film, sport and literature – and we did it all with style, confidence and flair,’ he says. “Because that is who we are.”

He rails again against cancel culture: “Our country wasn’t built by cancel culture, speech codes, and soul-crushing conformity. We are not a nation of timid spirits. We are a nation of fierce, proud, and independent American Patriots,” he says.

Here’s a notable promise from Trump in terms of space. “We will launch a new age of American Ambition in space,” he says. “America will land the first woman on the moon – and the United States will be the first nation to plant its beautiful flag on Mars.”

He is now listing promises, including creating 10 million jobs, cutting taxes, hiring more police and a ban on sanctuary cities. He promises to protect Medicare and social security, and keep strong borders while protecting the Second Amendment and keeping America out of foreign wars.

Trump again on Biden: “Joe Biden is weak.” “He takes his marching orders from liberal hypocrites who drive their cities into the ground while fleeing far from the scene of the wreckage,” he says.
“These same liberals want to eliminate school choice, while they enrol their children in the finest private schools in the land. They want to open our borders while living in walled-off compounds and communities. They want to defund the police, while they have armed guards for themselves.” He calls on America to “turn the page on this failed political class.” “We’re here and they’re not,” he adds.
Trump, in a knock-on political correctness, says: “Americans are exhausted trying to keep up with the latest list of approved words and phrases, and the ever-more restrictive political decrees.” “Many things have a different name now, and the rules are constantly changing,” he says.
“The goal of cancel culture is to make decent Americans live in fear of being fired, expelled, shamed, humiliated, and driven from society as we know it.” “The far-left wants to coerce you into saying what you know to be false and scare you out of saying what you know to be true,” he says.
Trump: “If the Radical Left takes power, they will apply their disastrous policies to every city, town, and suburb in America.” “Just imagine if the so-called peaceful demonstrators in the streets were in charge of every lever of power in the U.S. Government,” he says.
