269 Nigerians Stranded In India Arrive Abuja, Lagos Today

269 Nigerians that were confirmed to be stranded in India has arrived in Lagos and in Abuja today, Saturday the 13th day  of June, 2020.

The Nigerian in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), confirmed their arrival to newsmen to Newera News Correspondence in Lagos on Saturday.

The commission subsequently announced their arrival on its Twitter handle, said that the 269 Nigerians arrived Nigeria at 2:00 a.m prompt.

NiDCOM said that the evacuees were received from India at the Lagos and Abuja airports respectively.

Records available to us confirmed that ” 103 persons arrived in Lagos and while 166 others arrived in Abuja today, Saturday, June 13, at about 2:00 a.m, after a few hours of delay.

“All evacuees are now on compulsory 14 days Self Isolation according to the new Protocol, ” it said.

It was gathered that 103 evacuees arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, while 166 others landed at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja.
