A More Deadly Striker Than Costa, Tammy Abraham And Olivier Giroud Is Here Says Chelsea Manager

Since the departure of Diego Costa to Atletico Madrid after a fall-out with Antonio Conte, the then Chelsea manager, the London club is yet to find a striker worth the Spanish player.

Chelsea has been yearning to find a striker who can compete for places with the youngster and England international Tammy Abraham and have been eyeing on RB Leipzig star, Timo Werner.

Timo Werner has yielded at points that he admires the Merseyside club, Liverpool and could be delighted working under Jurgen Klopp.

However, according to former premier league star Owen Hargreaves, he could like to see the German striker Timo Werner in Chelsea and not Liverpool.

The classy ace has impressed in the German side and the calibre of clubs expressing their interest in him is a clear indication of the player’s skills and technical competence on the pitch. The striker is strongly believed to leave RB Leipzig during the transfer window and her next destination is likely to be the Premier League.

According to Owen Hargreaves, Werner joining Liverpool will see him start on the bench as Liverpool front is perfect and has pleased beyond doubt.

He claims that the striker should sign for Chelsea that is hungry for a world-class finisher and the player is tailor-made for Frank Lampard’s side and plans as he is in process of assembling a lethal squad that will challenge trophies in the next campaign.
