You are at great risk if you respond to unverified links online promising to credit your bank account with some amount of money.

This warning becomes very important as many Nigerians are losing their hard-earned money during this period of lockdown where many vulnerable citizens are suffering of hunger and grappling with the issue of Covid19.

However, some criminals disguise themselves as government officials and are fabricating dubious tricks to rob people of their money. Hence the public needs to be aware of such criminal activities.

This amount will be credited to your account after you verify your details. Please verify your account number and update your bank account information by replying with these information:

1. Your Account name

2. Date of birth

3. BVN

4. Phone number

5. Card serial numbers

Give out those the information and your money is gone. You have to be careful, this is the new format of bank fraud in vogue now using the name of Covid19 palliative, don’t give your bank details to anyone via message.
