Covid-19 Claims Sosoliso Airlines Chairman In A London Hospital
The Chairman of the defunct Sosoliso Airlines, Mr. Victor Ikwuemesi has died of the coronavirus infection in the United Kingdom today.
According to information provided by a close friend of the family on Tuesday, he was admitted into an undisclosed London hospital for an illness but later tested positive for coronavirus in the hospital.
Confirming the death of the businessman, Mr. Ikechi Uko, a close friend of the son of the late Ikwuemesi who happened to be the Managing Director of the airline while his father was the Chairman, described the death of the airline chief as very sad
It was gathered that the late airline chief before his death was placed in an intensive care unit but when the oxygen was removed from him to eat, he found it difficult to breathe on his own hence prompting the hospital authorities to place him in a ventilator before he died he gave up the ghost.
Sosoliso Airlines Limited Originally had its head office initially at the grounds of Enugu Airport in Enugu but later relocated its head office to Ikeja, Lagos State.
The organization ceased its operation after it’s Flight 1145 (SO1145/OSL1145) crashed at a residential area in Lagos, a crash that claimed many Nigerians especially children and a Popular preacher.
