Governor Ihedioha Appoints Dr. Sam Amadi, Others To Accelerate Development
The Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha, has signalled to the Imo State residence that he is ready to exceed expectations. He moved to increase capacity building by approving the appointment of Dr. Sam Amadi, as board chairman of Imo State Power and Rural Electricity Agency (I-POREA).
He also approved the appointment of executive heads of four state-owned agencies which will drive the machinery for development in the state.
In separate statements, yesterday, signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Chibuike Onyeukwu, he said their appointment takes immediate effect.
Others are — Engr. Solomon Opara; Engr. Uzoma Achinanya; Barr. Mrs. Ozioma Izuora; Barr. Ani Eke; Engr. Celestine Opurum and Francis Chisa Alaegbu.
Those appointed into the agencies are —Commander Ohiri Ikechukwu Chris, Chief Executive Officer – Imo State Traffic Management Agency; Martin Chinagorom Opara, Director General – Imo State Orientation Agency; Chime Aliliele -Executive Chairman – Imo State Pensions Commission and Uche Bana, an Engineer- Chief Executive Officer – Imo State Facility Management Agency.
