Adamawa Governor Reacts To The Killing Of Fulani Leader
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has condemned the killing of the Chairman of Tabital Pulaaku, a Fulani socio-cultural group in the state, Alhaji Abdu Balli.
The Fulani leader was on Tuesday killed by gunmen at his Yola residence.
In a statement on Wednesday by his media aide, Solomon Kumangar, the governor expressed sadness over the killing.
Fintiri also condemned the killing of Ishaya Dauda, the Muchalla Ward Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Mubi North Local Government area.
He directed the Adamawa State Police Command to apprehend the killers and bring them to justice.
Confirming the incidents, the Spokesman of Adamawa Police Command, DSP Suleiman Yahaya said Alhaji Abdu Balli was killed along with one of his visitors.
