Mesut Ozil Lambast Arsenal’s Disappointing Clash With Watford
Arsenal midfielder, Mesut Ozil, has reacted to the Gunners 2-2 draw against Watford at Vicarage Road on Sunday.
The North London side lost their first-half victory with goals from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, after errors by Sokratis and David Luiz cost Arsenal.
Tom Cleverley pulled one back before Robert Pereyra equalized from the spot.
Ozil, who was on the bench during the Arsenal’s clash against Tottenham Hotspur, stated that the draw against Watford was disappointing. The German charged his teammates to bounce back from the result against the host.
“Two points dropped. The annoying second half, in the end, we have to settle for a disappointing draw”. “Let’s try to bounce back soon. Thanks for your support at Vicarage road M1Ö@premierleague @Arsenal.” the 30-year-old wrote on Twitter.
The North London side will play Aston Villa in their next Premier League fixture at Emirates Stadium on September 22.
