Why Osinbajo Paid Condolence Visit To Family Of Late Precious Owolabi
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Sunday paid a condolence visit to the family of late Precious Owolabi at their residence in Zaria.
The Vice President was accompanied by the Governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai, Director General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Ibrahim Shuaibu, traditional rulers and other government officials.
He twitted @ProfOsibanjo that nothing will ever compare with the pain of losing a child.
This evening, I visited the family of Precious Owolabi and as a nation, we grieve the loss of this bright young man.
May the Almighty God comfort the family and loved ones.
Mr. Ayo Owolabi, father of the late Precious described the visit of the Vice President as encouraging.
He said the Federal Government’s support has brought some measure of relief to the family at a time like this. My family will always remember this gesture, my son did not die in vain he said.
Another family member who will not like his name in print said the visit is memorable and has improved the vice president’s image significantly, he opined.
