How I Made N18,000 Daily As Pick-pocket Expert – Suspect
A suspected pickpocket arrested at the Computer Village, Ikeja, Lagos has confessed to the operatives of the Lagos State Rapid Response Squad (RRS) that he made at least N18,000 daily selling stolen phones.
The suspect, Lawal Daodu, 31, was arrested on Friday around 5:00 p.m. when he unsuccessful picked a phone from a passer-by at Ikeja Under Bridge.
When asked why he engaged in stealing, he said he started professional pick-pocket since 2017 as a result of hardship.
According to an eye witness who will not want his name in print, said the police at under the Ikeja bridge rescued him from been lynched by hoodlums in the area.
He is currently detained at the Area F Police station in Ikeja and will be charged to court .
